Lackawanna College Football

Located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Lackawanna Community College Athletics is a DI NCJAA program with a stellar football team. Producing athletes to Penn State, North Carolina State, Wagner College and more, the football program is led by former NFL athlete Mark Duda. During the 2022-23 season, I completed my internship and senior thesis with their athletics department where I strengthened my photography, illustration and design skills. Attending games, media day and other athletic events around campus, I ran their social media page, @lackawannafootball on Instagram from October 2022 until March 2023. In that time the account grew over 450 followers and engagement was up 18%.

During this time, the program was also producing a documentary called They Sleep on Us, about the team’s 2019 Playoff run all the way through to the championship. I had the opportunity to create posters, graphics and billboards for their premiere in Scranton.
